 Verified Authentic and extra special trip!
We booked the full day Mnemba Island tour as a group of 4. The communication from Julia via WhatsApp was excellent. On the boat we were looked after by Captain Mbwana, Hemedi and Matthias. They were super friendly and looked after us so well. The boat was incredibly comfortable with a lovely cushioned area at the front to enjoy the sailing. We did see dolphins, but they were surrounded and chased by other boats. What we loved about Dream Dhow was the respect for these animals, we did not chase them and the crew did not appreciate the behaviour of the other boats. This was an important consideration for us when booking. We soon went on to Mnemba where we stopped in the shallows. The crew were sensitive to our preference, and rather than join the other boats on the sandbank, we dropped anchor a little further away and enjoyed a more peaceful time in the crystal clear waters - paradise! We then had a beautiful freshly prepared lunch with chicken, lobster, veg, rice, chapati, and the tuna fish - the best I've ever tasted! We continued to an area for snorkelling and Matthias joined us in the water, guiding us with care, pointing out sea life, and pulling a life ring for moments when you needed some support. Finally we raised the sail and sailed back towards the sunset as we were served fresh fruit and enjoyed being rocked by the sea. We stayed on the boat to watch the sunset on the horizon - magical! We had a private boat with an incredible crew all to ourselves, and it was just perfect. They may not be the biggest company - but they deliver an extra special personable experience. This is really recommended to do. We experienced the dream dhow and its crew as amazing. It is relatively expensive if you hire it as a couple but then you also have the most amazing time. First on the motorbike for 2 hours towards pnemba island where you anchor at the edge of the reef. While we go snorkeling with guidance and see the most amazing fish, there is cooking. Great food with even lobster on the menu!! After dinner to the sandbar where you can stand and then on the sail for the wind back to the mooring spot. And yes, there are also 20 others with all kinds of boats but not with the privacy and luxury of this boat where you can relax on pillows and sit. And of course with a great fun and professional crew, thank Mathias, bwamba and Samuel for this wonderful day.

 Verified Perfect way to end your time in Zanzibar
Fantastic company with kind, friendly staff. They were able to accommodate my family at the last minute with some changes. Sunset dhow boat ride was gorgeous, fun music snacks and drinks were plentiful and we had the entire boat to ourselves. Highly recommend!

This full-day boat adventure was INCREDIBLE! My friend and I took a private trip on the Dream Dhow with Captain Mbwana, Hemedi, and Matthias. All three of them were extremely professional, personable, and helpful in creating a one-of-a-kind experience for us. From the beachside pickup to the comfortable lounging areas on the boat to the guided snorkeling to the delicious lobster, tuna, rice, chicken, and chapati they cooked us on the boat, to the photoshoot they gave us to the intriguing stories about life as fishermen, the crew really curated a top-notch day. The sunset cruise was amazing. We couldn’t have pictured it in any better way than it was. We had something else planned before the cruise and he went out of his way to plan our separate itinerary item to fit perfectly with the sunset cruise. From the communication and planning with the host, the special requests we had, to the Dream Dhow crew; Mr Hemedi, Mr Samuel and Captain Mbwana, everything was great and they were very welcoming.
