Hidden sandbank with seafood lunch
Avoid the crowds & discover our hidden gem – Nakupenda Bis
Itinerary
Skip the overcrowded Nakupenda sandbank and spend your day on a quieter, and more stunning sandbank that we call Nakupenda Bis, a paradise just a little further away, where you can truly enjoy Zanzibar’s natural beauty in peace.
09:00 – Depart from Stone Town by speedboat (not traditional dhow – more time on the beach, less on the boat).
09:45 – Arrive at the sandbank. Swim, relax, take photos 📸, and soak in the crystal-clear waters while we prepare your fresh seafood BBQ lunch.
13:30 – Return to Stone Town. Optional:
- Snorkeling stop at a small reef on the way back 🐠🪸
Continue with a guided walking tour of Stone Town (if booked) ⛪
Note: If you prefer, you may skip the Stone Town tour and enjoy more time on the sandbank instead.

Explore Tumbatu Island with a dhow
Escape to a quiet island
Itinerary
Tumbatu Island is famous for its beautifully corals and many many fish species due to the few amount of tourists visiting here. It’s even a chance to spot a sea turtle while snorkeling!
The trip starts 09.30 from Kendwa Beach were you jump on one of our beautifully dhows and it takes around 45 minutes to reach Tumbatu Island.
After the first snorkeling it’s time to enjoy the amazing seafood lunch that the captains has preperad. Around 3 pm we start to head back to Kendwa.
If you want to catch the sunset on the way back and sail along the coast, you will start the day a bit later, normally around 11-12 am.

Explore Pungume Island with a dhow
The magical island
Itinerary
Welcome on board on the beautifully Dhow for a full day out on the sea. We start heading to the sandbank and on the way we often see the dolphins. If you are lucky it’s possible to jump in and swim with them. 🐬 We DON’T chase them.
Arriving at the sandbank you have time to enjoy and swim while we prepare the lunch consisting of seafood bbq, rice, salad, swahili curry, samosas and fresh fruits (chicken available upon request).
After eating it’s time for the magical and memorable snorkeling. We end the trip with a stop in small wild creeks and the mangroves if the tide allows. Around 4 pm we start to sail back to Kizimkazi.

Romantic sunset cruise on a dhow

The best way to admire the beautifully African sunset is from a traditionally Dhow while enjoying our delicious seafood bbq dinner (we have vegeterian alternative).
This private trip is all about having a romantic and relaxed evening while being surrounded by the sound of the waves with the wind blowing in the sail.
This trip is also possible to do with snacks instead of dinner.
